Gas Safety Awareness Training is an essential means of ensuring your employees, both technical and non technical maintain an understanding of how their decisions and actions can affect the gas safety of a user, customer, or tenant.
Roofers, Carpenters, Builders, Plumbers and Electricians are consitantly undertaking work on their own trade that unwittingly can affect the safety of a gas installation.
Similarly non technical staff should have a similar understanding to ensure that work they contract or hand out is done so with an understanding of the potential hazards. The administration team needs to know how to respond to questions about gas safety by phone, reports of a gas escape or carbon monoxide poisoning because these events can lead to a prosecution, death, imprisonment or injury if noit handled correctly. Many Housing groups are contracting out work but failing to inspect it prior to handover to ensure the work has been completed safely. As the employer there is a legal responsibility to do so. Housing groups should have an appointed auditor or compliance officer to ensure all work is carried out safely to avoid prosecution. Our Gas Safety Awareness Courses are tailored specifically to your needs and not merely off the shelf "one size fits all" certificates Our courses are delivered and certified in centre, online and in house. Users and colleges can even purchase a licence to deliver these courses which are available throughout the UK.
